Problem

Harcourts has been leveraging the power of our APIs for many years, initially using our now-retired SOAP XML APIs, to provide property data to its customers via web browser and mobile apps. Recognising that its existing iOS app had become outdated and unable to use the most modern technologies, Harcourts identified a need to rebuild its app.

Result

Harcourts now has a modern and robust iOS app suite that provides more value to its residential real estate customers than ever before. Harcourts’ customers can now easily receive all of the information they need to make the best decision possible about a property. The app also encourages non-customers to register for this and other Harcourts services. Since launch, the app suite has transformed the business and driven greater efficiency. The Harcourts global network of sales consultants are able to provide a full range of marketing, research and technological tools while they’re on the move. The apps save consultants hundreds of hours per year by streamlining tasks and they help Harcourts deliver a great client experience.

Solution

Smartly, Harcourts took advantage of the opportunity to migrate to our JSON Restful APIs while completely rebuilding its iOS app. This integration is the first CoreLogic integration that facilitates varying degrees of information exposure based on a users’ profile. Harcourts’ new app provides a range of property details, images, history and automated valuation model (AVM) data for a given property as well as market trends, comparable properties and other properties currently available for a given market.
